New House - Dining Room

Kitchen: We maximize the storage space and improve the traffic flow by completely turning this kitchen around. The owner appreciated having a window above her sink. We added a walk-in pantry in the corner with a ribbed glass door; the light projected through the glass at night, cast a warm glow into the kitchen.
We opted for shaker-style white cabinetry with a traditional dark wood upper cabinet for punctuation. To maximize the look of the space in this average size kitchen we decided to place shelving on one wall instead of upper cabinetry. Finishing touches; countertops, black granite and butcher-block, back splash tumbled marble, stainless steel appliances and sink, black Jen-Air cook top with down draft ventilation. Paint; Benjamin Moore Edgecombe gray HC-173, Oxford white CC-30 and the wall behind the wood cabinet Rapture CC-66.
